St Kilda Festival this Sunday

If you're in Melbourne this weekend then the best way to spend your Sunday is at St Kilda Festival. This annual music and arts festival attracts massive crowds every year and the best part is that it's totally free! festival-masthead The festival started on January 31, but the big day is Festival Sunday, which is tomorrow, February 8. This flagship event of St Kilda Festival will see many of the streets of St Kilda closed off to make way for a massive lineup of talented Australian musicians, not to mention workshops, kids' activities, dance classes and heaps of other entertainment. Having been to St Kilda Festival for the last couple of years, I promise you it's worth cancelling your Sunday plans to check it out. That said, it gets BUSY so if you get claustrophobic in crowds of people, it may not be for you. Tomorrow's weather forecast tells me it's also going to be HOT, so be prepared to get sweaty and brave the heat. **Update: In true Melbourne fashion the weather forecast has changed and is now predicting a pleasant top of 24 degrees.** Here's a link to the music timetable for tomorrow...
