Jean Paul Gaultier exhibition in Melbourne finishing soon

I don't have the words to adequately describe just how incredible The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier exhibition is. It was truly breathtaking and quite possibly the best 'art' exhibition I've ever seen. Obviously my mad love for fashion means I was bound to love it, but I promise that even those who are nonchalant when it comes to fashion will appreciate it too.

All smiles posing with an incredible 70s punk denim JPG dress.

JPG is a genius. His designs over the decades have been so cutting-edge (umm, remember Madonna's cone bra anyone?) and to see them up close makes you appreciate just how talented he really is. "This spectacular overview of Gaultier’s oeuvre features the first dress created by the designer in 1971 to his latest  haute couture and ready-to-wear collections, costumes worn by Kylie Minogue and Beyoncé and haute couture dresses worn by Nicole Kidman." – NGV. The exhibition finishes on February 8 so if you haven't been yet, I highly recommend you do, especially if you're a fashion-addict like me. I'll leave you with some photos – if you're planning on going, you may want stop scrolling now so I don't spoil it for you. The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier Open daily, 10am–5pm NGV International, 180 St Kilda Road, Melbourne
